Lake Tahoe Humane Society was found in 1967, the Lake Tahoe Humane Society & S.P.C.A Charity Organization provides a variety of programs including Spay-Neuter subsidies, Disaster Relief & Educational programs
We are a small community with a small population base. The following services and programs are offered as funds are available. There is no national humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (SPCA) to help with local needs. Tahoe pets depend on Tahoe people, full and part time residents and visitors. Pet Food may be dropped off at the Lake Tahoe Humane Society office located at 870 Emerald Bay Road, Suite #104, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
